X8 Slitter Rewinder

The Universal X8 is the latest high-productivity slitter rewinder from Universal Converting Equipment. It incorporates a range of technologies to allow the machine to run with minimal operator input. It can also be integrated with roll weighing and labelling, roll conveying, automatic bagging of the rolls and robotic palletising.

The Universal X8 slitter rewinder follows the development of the Universal X6 and X6VT. It pushes the technology to new levels to achieve high productivity levels whilst still being easy to operate. The integrated systems minimise the time to set up a new product, they also minimise the time between sets of rolls. Any task that is better ‘done by the machine’ is done by the machine. The running time of the machine is maximised, and the machine operator is free to perform other tasks.
